Welcome to Ms. Patterson’s Third Grade I am excited about teaching our third graders this year! For some time I have thought about going back into the classroom where I can teach my own students all day. We will be publishing student books through Student Treasures again this year. In third grade EACH student will write, illustrate and publish his/her own book. We will begin this early in the fall so that books will be back before the winter holiday break. I look forward to learning with and about your children.
 
 
It is my mission this year to teach all students the third grade curriculum in a safe, warm, nurturing, and academically challenging environment. Students will work with me in whole groups, small groups, by themselves, with a partner and in cooperative groups. We will use hands on activities whenever appropriate. I welcome parent/grandparent help and visits. I believe in every student, but we need your help to make it the best it can be!
