The databases below are funded through MDK12 Digital Library, a three year grant from the federal government. Students and teachers have access to these valuable resources both at home and at school. SIRS Knowledge Source- A comprehensive online resource including SIRS Researcher®, SIRS Government Reporter®, and SIRS Rennaissance®.	ProQuest Platinum - This is a magazine database of 118+ journals designed for middle school students. Most journal articles are full text including photographs. This resource provides students and teachers a wealth of resources on current-in-the-news topics.
SIRS Discoverer - Contains over 1,600 full-text articles from magazines, newspapers, and U.S. government documents. Designed for elementary and middle school students.	Grolier Online - This site includes six useful resources. •Encyclopedia Americana - Use for in-depth research. •Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia - Quick references, rich with multimedia. •The New Book of Knowledge - Current events, easier to read and understand. •America the Beautiful - State-by-state reference.
	CultureGrams - Up-to-date information on 187 world countries and the 50 U.S. states.
Science Resource Center by Thomson Gale is a science database that provides access to thousands of full text articles for all science-related research needs.
